studio program_Open Call_Fall 2025
Now accepting applications for our 2025 Studio Program Open Call
We are excited to invite artists to apply for a fully funded studio space at 99 Canal to help support the development of a personal project or preparation for an upcoming exhibition in New York City. Our Studio Program supports all practices situated within a contemporary art context, welcoming not only painters and sculptors, but also writers, performance artists, filmmakers, and beyond.
The Studio Program launched in 2022 as a response to the lack of affordable spaces in Manhattan and provides access to an intimate and context-specific environment to work in. Collaborating with artists, galleries, and institutions, our selection process draws on the insights of the local creative community to ensure a continuously diverse and vibrant studio cohort. This Open Call will be announced bi-annually, marking a new chapter of our Studio program.
